Normally the processing time of the New Electricity Registrations is very few days, but we recommend that you send us the request as early as possible so that you can have electricity on the date you need.
Costs associated with registering a new Low Voltage electricity supply:
Spanish legislation establishes the costs that the customer must pay when registering the Low Voltage Electricity Supply with their electricity distributor (as they are regulated costs, the costs are the same in all electricity companies):
- Cost for hooking rights: €9.044 per actuation and
- Cost for Connection Fees: 37.08 €/kW (to be multiplied by each kW of contracted power)
Example: Registering electricity with a power of 3.4 kW, would cost 135.11 € + VAT.
The Law establishes that the electricity commercialization companies (e.g. Energy Intersol) will be in charge of charging these actions to the customers and deliver these amounts to the electricity distribution companies on behalf of the customer.
As a result, when you sign up for an electricity supply with Energy Intersol, we will send you an invoice with the costs indicated by the distributor for the supply registration (as these costs are established by law, these costs are the same whether you sign up for electricity with us or with another supplier).

If you have any other questions, write to contact@energyintersol.com or call us at 966 660 547. We have personalized attention.
Which product is right for me?
Contact us to find your perfect light rate.
Finding your ideal light rate depends on 3 factors that we indicate below:
- The power of light you need:
- Power less than or equal to 10 kW (most homes and businesses),
- Power greater than 10 kW and less than 15 kW (some homes and companies),
- Power greater than 15 kW (many companies)
- If your installation is high voltage (most industries).
2. The schedules in which you use electricity the most:
- If you make most of your electricity consumption during off-peak hours (eg from 22:00 to 12:00 during “summer time” and from 23:00 to 13:00 during “winter time” ),
- If your electricity consumption is distributed throughout the day and night, without worrying about the schedules.
3. Your preferences :
- If you prefer to know in advance the price that will be applied to the energy you consume, you will be interested in one of our fixed price rates.
- If you like markets, you will know that the price of electricity fluctuates every hour, depending on supply and demand. Choose our indexed price rates if you do not care about these fluctuations or if your electricity consumption occurs in times of lower demand.
- Use our forms to quickly find the rate that best suits your needs.
If you have any other questions, write us at contact@energyintersol.com or call us at < strong> 966 660 547 . We have personalized attention.
What do I need to contract the light with Energy Intersol?
- Your personal data, your account number and the CUPS code of your light installation.
- Contract the electricity with us in very simple, you will only have to tell us:
- The usual data you need when hiring any service (name, surname, ID / CIF, telephone, mail, account number,….) and the CUPS code of your light installation.
- What is the CUPS code (Unified Supply Point Code)?
- The CUPS is like the DNI of each light installation, it is a sequence of numbers and letters that allows to precisely identify each of the light installations. You can find the CUPS for your installation on your electricity bills or call the electricity company to provide it.
- In the case of New Light Supplies, you should request this information from your installer or from the light distribution company in your area.
Can I change the wattage by switching to Energy Intersol?
Yes, tell us the new power you need in the contract and we will process the change.
When requesting any power change (or registering an electricity supply) it is important to take into account the following:
- The change of light power supposes a cost for the client (this cost is established by Law). In low voltage the costs for the customer are the following (indirect taxes not included):
- Costs to decrease the power : € 9.05 for Down Payment Rights.
- Costs when increasing power : € 9.05 for Coupling Rights + € 37.08 for each kW of increased power.
- In addition, in installations older than 20 years , the distributor may apply an additional cost of € 8.04 for Verification Rights.
- Example 1: if you request a power increase from 3.5 to 4.5 kW and your installation is less than 20 years old, this power increase would cost € 46.13 (€ 9.05 + 1 kW x 37.08)
- Example 2: if you request a power reduction from 4.5 to 3.5 kW and your installation is less than 20 years old, this power reduction would cost € 9.05.
- Normally only one power change per year is possible for each supply point (every 365 days). Therefore, if you request more than one power change in a period of one year, the distribution company (in charge of executing these modifications) could reject the second and successive power modifications.
- For this reason, we recommend that you carefully review the power you need, before requesting any modification.
If you have any other questions, write us at contact@energyintersol.com or call us at < strong> 966 660 547 . We have personalized attention.

Can you certify that the energy I consume is clean?
Yes, at Energy Intersol we certify that all the electricity we supply is clean energy:
- In your invoices you will see that all the energy you have consumed with Energy Intersol comes from 100% renewable sources of production and, therefore, has no environmental impact: it does not generate carbon dioxide emissions or high-activity radioactive waste.
- In addition, since sustainability is a very important issue and increasingly concerns companies and individuals, we issue Certificates of Guarantee of Origin to companies that request them, reflecting the total volume of energy supplied by Energy Intersol and certifying that this energy is clean, from 100% renewable sources of production.
Can I subscribe to the PVPC with ENERGY INTERSOL?
The Voluntary Price for Small Consumers (PVPC) is the maximum price that can be charged by electricity retailers classified as reference retailers to consumers who subscribe to this price. To be eligible for the PVPC, you must be the owner of supply points with voltages no greater than 1 kV and with contracted power less than or equal to 10 kW. In the event that you are covered by the PVPC and meet the necessary requirements for the application of the social voucher, signing a new electricity contract with ENERGY INTERSOL would mean that you would not be eligible for the social voucher as this entity is not a reference supplier and operates in the free market.
In any case, if a consumer who is entitled to the PVPC is under another type of contract, at any time they can switch to the PVPC, contracting the supply through any of the benchmark suppliers.
The list of reference suppliers is available on the CNMC website.
